Trump has proposed an executive order that would cease all programs that promote the concept of sex and gender transition at any age. He has also proposed that Congress pass a law permanently stopping federal taxpayer dollars from being used to promote or pay for gender transition procedures, as well as a law prohibiting child sexual mutilation in all 50 states.
Trump’s plan would also prevent hospitals and healthcare providers who perform gender transition surgeries or chemical procedures on minors from qualifying for Medicaid and Medicare. He has given his Justice Department the task of investigating large pharmaceutical companies and hospitals to determine if they have covered up long-term side effects of gender transition procedures and illegally marketed hormone treatments and puberty blockers.
His Department of Education will also prevent teachers from encouraging children to question their gender and “promote positive education about the nuclear family, the roles of mothers and fathers and celebrating rather than erasing the things that make men and women different and unique.”
The former president’s plans will be a breath of fresh air for parents who are concerned about the promotion of gender transition in schools. Trump’s commitment to protecting children from this dangerous ideology is a testament to his commitment to the safety and wellbeing of all children.
Trump’s pledge to “stop the chemical, physical, and emotional mutilation of our youth” is a cause for celebration. We should all be grateful for a leader who has the courage to take a stand for children’s rights and against the radical left’s dangerous agenda. We should also be thankful for a leader who has the courage to take a stand for biological science and the simple truth that there are only two genders: male and female.
