FORMER chat show king Craig Ferguson is flogging his Scottish Stately home – for just £200,000 more than he paid for it nearly a decade ago.
The presenter, who was once the highest paid presenter on US TV on £8million a year, snapped up the A-listed Ayrshire mansion in 2012 for £2million.
Now the 15-bedroom Bargany House is listed with plush property specialists Savills for offers over £2.2million.
Last night Peter Gillespie, director of the estate agents, said: “We cannot comment on the property’s client.”
But Peter was happy to rave about the spectacular house adding that it is, “one of the most perfect examples of a period mansion house not only in Scotland but also, in my view, the whole of the UK.
“The unspoilt and protected view is another reason why generations of owners have continued to invest in, love and enjoy this private jewel of a house.”
